Optimizing health and fitness has been a passion of mine for over 35 years. From a very young age I entered active competitive sports, and developed an understanding of the human body‘s capability.
Believe it or not, at age 18 and the tail end of my high school years, I started as a personal training coach at some of the box gyms in Toronto and I’ve carried that love of learning about the development of the human body throughout my life. That was 35 years ago; it’s been a great journey.
In my university years, I studied kinesiology and physical health education with a minor in nutrition. Post-university, I’ve completed multiple certifications specializing in strength and kinesiology.
Since my program is founded in good food, I am also a registered nutrition consulting practitioner.
Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of helping clients with overall body mobility and corrective routines for those with injuries. I love finding new ways to expand my ability to help people, and work with a wide range of clients’ needs and goals has enabled me to perfect individual methods for success.
Unlike the typical gym training scenarios, I DO NOT believe that one size fits all. I believe the secret (often overlooked) key to success is not taking your individual goals into account when designing a program.
That might sound counterintuitive, but my technique builds on the whole person, not just your fitness goals or your diet.
I look at areas considered by innovative doctors and naturopaths as well as the best fitness professionals, and I’ve created a well-rounded approach that’s been distilled into best practices for the highest performance over the last 30 years.
